We only add 30 per cent to the purchase price. That is very low by comparison. Thanks to the joint work of our members, we can offer particularly favourable prices. At the same time, we pay the farmers fair prices so that they can make a good living. There is no price squeezing with us. MILA buys from small producers, farmers’ cooperatives and wholesalers. Nobody makes a profit at MILA! At other supermarkets, profit is a stronger motive than careful treatment of people, nature and animals. At MILA it is possible to shop without discount battles and untrustworthy advertising promises. Many of our products are regional and organic, but not all. Affordability is very important at MILA.

At the end of November 2025, we took a close look at five supermarkets in Meidling: a discount store, two large supermarkets, an organic supermarket, and an Asian supermarket . Eighty products from our range were carefully compared.
